Wright Camera Club was started by Wanda Christl in 1988.  She had a passion for photography that she loved to share with others.  She felt that meeting with other people who loved photography as much as she did would not only make her a better artist but would also inspire others to enjoy photography. Photo Competitions, lectures, and camera walks are a part of our club activities.  Our members have a wide range of styles and interests.  We have a lot of fun! We alternate every other month between Competition Night (Photographs made by members may be produced in a home dark room, processed by commercial photo laboratories, or digitally on your computer) and programs (lectures, photo shoots, Chicago-land Safaris, etc). We like to think of interesting things to do as a club, and are always open to new suggestions and ideas.
